Surviving During The Abuse & During The Trauma
In this episode of Life Re-assembled, we dive into what it means to survive our toxic environment while the trauma is still happening.
Ideally, staying in any toxic environment will continue to feed the negative stress sensors in our brains and bodies. Leaving us constantly on edge and exhausted.
Yet, sometimes we cannot leave straight away, and in the midst of that- we need to figure out a way to keep our nervous systems in check (as much as we possible can).
Today we discuss different ways to keep your brain as calm as possible while you're in the midst of the chaos.
